International Club is a multi-cultural student organization comprised of international students as well as U.S. resident students attending CSU East Bay.

The purpose of IC is to "Learn from each other. Grow together" with the understanding of our Founding Principles by creating and implementing programs that teach diversity, service, respect for others.
*What is the history?
Formerly the International Student Club, co-founded by Devinka and Karina in Spring 2004, ISC was restructured, founding principles instituted, and its name changed to International Club in January 2005.
President: Devinka Peiris (Spring 2004), Brian Lam (Fall 2004), Ruel Cabarles (Winter 2005 - Spring 2006), and Shiva Premmanisakul (Fall 2006 through Present).
Past accomplishments & special events: Tsunami Relief Forum, Mar. 15, 2005; International Food-Tasting Festival (a fundraiser benefiting Katrina Relief Fund for Students), Nov. 16, 2005; Foreign Film Night; Potluck Picnic, Nov. 5, 2005; Poverty in America, Jan. 18, 2006; Multicultural Week, May 4, 2006 ; Potluck in the Woods, May 14, 2006; Asian / Pacific Islander: Media in America, May 22, 2006; APA film showing: Monkey Dance, May 23, 2006; International Food Tasting Festival (a fundraiser benefiting the Bamboo School in Thailand (www.bambooschool.org), Nov. 15, 2006
