Hello new one,

I'm another new one. I won't be at the moot for June as I'm celebrating the
solstice elsewhere, but I'm also looking forward to seeing everyone for July.

Hi,

We are meeting on Monday at the Skylark as usual.

I don't know if you know this, but PF London is hosting our major confernce on
Sunday 27 June at ULU (where we have been before). You can get details from
pflondon.org.

This is going to be a don't miss day, so put the details in your diary!

I shall have tickets at the moot to sell. At only £10 they really are a bargain
so get your ticket on Monday!

Cheers

Paul

Hi,

Hope you had a fantastic solstice too.  May Father sun pour forth his radiance upon you and keep the fire in your heart as we enter the waning year.

Had a lovely day, two rituals, one for sunrise and one at sunset (Just something I do)

Anyway hope to see you and everyone else in July

Bright Blessings

Hi everyone,

We shall meet on Monday in the Skylark, as usual. Doubtless some will have good
reminiscences of Wyrd-i to share.

Heather will be hosting the evening as I shall be with my Mum, it's her 80th
birthday so I thought I shouldn't forget it!

So please do join Heather and everyone for a good evening.

Hi everyone!

Well, it's the third Monday of September already (almost!) and that means we
have a Moot on Monday. I hope to see everyone there, especially now as it's
feeling very Autumnal already and I at least need some warm companionship from
all the lovely pagans. So, see you Monday.

Skylark, South End, from 8pm as usual. Contact me if you need to know where to
come.

Dear Friends, Pagans, Magicians, Wizards, Witches, PF members,

PFL Autumn Eqx Open ritual.
Thursday 23rd Sept'10.    7.30pm for 8pm start.   (9pm finish. then socials till 10pm).
*Entrance: £4 (PF members & concessions) / £5 all others.
Conway Hall, Red Lion Square, Holborn.    (details on www.pflondon.org)

This thursday sees a full moon..   the first of a pair that makes up an `astrological Blue Moon'  (2 consecutive full moons in the same sign .. this one in Aries.. first sign of the Zodiac). ..and it happens on the same day of the Autumn Equinox..

On thursday,  Hern's Tribe is facilitating the Pagan Federation London's AUTUMN EQUINOX open ritual. Witness and participate in the story of the Eagle & Wren.. fly beneath the wings of the great Dragon..  and join in the tribal migratory journey..for the search for Hern and winter refuge. (A great ritual put together by HT members Fay & Drew).

Come and join us on this very auspicious time of the Full moon/ autumn eqx..
Please bring food & drinks to share. Bring Drums!
May I take this opportunity to say..it is a good to be taking on the responsibility of PF London's Events Coordinating. again.. (after a year's gap..though I have continued to be PFL's webmaster through out).  Time away from the pagan `front lines' has been a bit like a Hermit standing  alone and looking for lights within..!  My thoughts now are ever more on the plights of Gaia, and  there is so much more to do..    so much more you & I can do!

See you all on thursday..at Conway Hall, under the light of an Aries full moon..and energies of Autumn Equinox.

Hi all I'm new here, relatively new to my path. I am a solitary eclectic but
work a lot within Kitchen/Hearth Witchcraft.
I don't know any pagans in my daily life but have built up a a group of friends
online.
I'm at a point where I have read books and seem to keep reading the same thing
over and over and not learning much new. So I think it's time to take a step
towards meeting ''real'' people. I want to get out of the reading phase and into
the doing phase if that makes sense.

Anyway this is me :-)

Hi!

Thanks for getting in touch. Do come along to the next moot at the Skylark Pub in Croydon on Monday 18 October at 8pmish. Although the conversation is general being in a pub there are pagans/Wiccans present who would be happy to chat and offer support.

James Sunbird Carrington created a petition calling for Melanie Philips to make a full public apology for the offence her comments caused. In 48 hours, the petition has already received 2565 sig...natures from people of all faiths accross the world. The petition can be viewed and signed here http://www.petitiononline.com/druid1/petition.html

Today James was contacted by the Robin Esser, the Executive Managing Editor of the Daily Mail. Link is to James Grove of Yews blog http://groveofyews.blogspot.com/2010/10/important-update-re-melanie-philips.html . Check out the other blogs to view his written complaint to the Daily Mail.

Melanie's comments are not just aimed at druids - this involves everyone that doesn't fit in her right-wing views of religion and faith.

As such, James has invited us all to join him hand the petition to Robin Esser at the Daily Mail offices in London on October 11th at noon. A second copy will then be walked to the Press Complaints Commission shortly afterwards.

So come robed up and show your support. It's a peaceful gathering - 'call to arms' doesn't mean come armed, just come and be counted - united behind a common cause - that we are offended by the inaccurate and hate filled words written by this woman in National Press!

Invite your Groves, Orders and friends. You don't have to be druid or even pagan to be offended by her words in the article.   "

Dear All,

bit of a short notice.. but this is absolutely worth going to... very much `pagan' in it;s festive nature.. what with Berry-men  Harvest Queen (a giant made of vegetables, hay etc)..

Here's the extract from their website:

"This year's October Plenty will be celebrated on Sunday 24th October 2010 from 12noon on the Bankside outside Shakespeare's Globe.
October Plenty is an Autumn harvest celebration held annually in Southwark. Beginning on the Bankside, by Shakespeare's Globe, October Plenty mixes ancient seasonal customs and theatre with contemporary festivity, joining with historic Borough Market, Southwark.
October Plenty is a collective celebration of the seasons, weather and food, in a public place, with access to everyone. The event is free, and happens whatever the weather.

For details, see webite/link: http://www.thelionspart.co.uk/octoberplenty/

See you there..if you go.

Hi everyone,

I hope everyone is feeling well after the New Year. I myself and finally over a
most vicious cold, but should be OK for Monday, so I hope you will join with me
after 8pm at the Skylark.

One thing we might discuss on Monday is the new directions for the moot. Heather
is now the 'official' local rep for the Pagan Federation. If you happen to be a
member of the Pagan Fed (you don't have to be to come along) you can meet your
officers at the Moot (in fact, please do). We are happy to help with as much PF
stuff as we can be expected to at the Moot.

Hope to see you there

Bright Blessings

Paul
