This group is for writers interested in getting and giving serious criticism/critiques.
We get lots of fantasy posts. We get lots of short stories. We have books posted chapter by chapter. Cross-genre, romance, detective stories. We see it all.
Rule #1: DON'T SUBMIT YOUR WORK UNLESS YOU'VE OFFERED AT LEAST 3 CRITS FIRST!
Rule #2: TRY TO DO SEVERAL CRITS BETWEEN YOUR SUBMISSIONS.

Rule #6: Reply to critiques of your own work, by all means. But please do not comment if the subject is another's work. Vicious circles develop ... grrr
Rule #7: Title your critiques with CRIT:[Story name]. Title your submissions with SUB:[Story name].
Rule #8: Title your submissions for the Critical Writing magazine with MAGSUB:[Story name].
