This group is a resource for all those who work for or with the Colorado Renaissance Festival. For too long we have had no voice and no unity - for too long we have had no say... We are the heart of the faire - we are the reason it exists - without us there is no Faire - and it is well past time for the management to realize this and act accordingly. This group is dedicated to giving us the voice and the strength needed to affect positive change at the faire we love. In this place the workers of the CRF can organize and become an irresistible force that can affect such changes. For lack of a better term this group is the beginning of the CRF worker's union. Things can be made better if we all stand together.
message topics to include things such as:
Off site social gather announcements
"Union" meeting announcements and recaps
Suggestions for Faire improvements
Contract review resources
Grievances against the Faire management
And perhaps most importantly for now, legal updates on the various court cases that have been filed and are yet to be filed against Management.
This is the time for all CRF workers to organize and finally stand up for ourselves. No matter how leery we have been in the past about speaking openly to affect change, this site empowers every one of us to stand together, and to do so in a place over which the management has no control.
Join us and add your thoughts to the group. Feel free to remain anonymous if you wish but be aware that per State Labor code – any interference or retaliation on the part of Colorado Renaissance Festival management for this site is implicitly illegal – This group does have its own lawyers and they will ensure that any such illegal actions result in penalties for Management and court orders that they continue to employ, without prejudice, any and every member of this new union. We also have a forum - see link below.
