Hello,
My name is Jessica Jones. I was a member of the Crestwood High
Forensics Team from '01-'04, and I judged for the team in '04/'05.
As you may or may not have heard, This year is Mr. Snook's last
year. With that in mind, many of us have decided to try and make
this a year-end picnic that shows him what a difference he made to
us. In order to do that, we have decided to prepare a scrapbook of
memories. I understand this is a little last minute, but as he did
many things for us last minute, I thought we could do this. Below
are directions on how to contribute to the scrapbook. As always,
being such a young member of the team, I do not have everyone's e-
mails and/or addresses, so please, if you are in contact with other
members of the team, please forward this information to them. (For
some of you, yes I realize that this is the second time you have
recieved something like this, HOWEVER, until today, I have had no
response, so please read through again, as there is new information
in it. ALSO TO VAL: I'm making it your job to let the team know.
make them stay quiet about it, Madame President.)
SO, if you guys would like to help, please send copies of:
1.pictures from your years on the team,
2.current pictures of you and your family,
3.maybe a short "Thanks for everything" little snippet/ what you are
doing now. (remember, either Ashley or myself will be putting this
together, so if you have something really personal, you may just want
to send it straight to the old man. OR mark personal on a seperate
envolope and seal the letter in that. We can attach the envolope to
the book to where HE can open it.)
4. a dollar for cost. (Neither of us have jobs... as of right now.
So... $1 isn't asking much. All of it WILL go to the book.)
5. a short memory of a funny story while you were on the team.
(Prank stories and pictures are AWESOME. I am still trying to track
down the pics from the year we covered his room in foil)
6. any article on the team or the drama productions he helped
produce. (I hope to go to the Record or The library soon, thanks to
the suggestion by Gwen, but it is always helpful if you can send a
copy of what you have.)
Again, I DO NOT have everyone's e-mail from EVERY YEAR, so if you
know someone that is not on the list, PLEASE forward this to them.
(please don't forward it to Snook...)

We would like to have this done by the picnic on the 30th of April,
so please mail (to the address below) postmarked NO LATER than April
15th. (Hey! you can mail it with your taxes for ease!) Also, if you
don't want to send $1 through the mail, a check is fine. Make it out
to Jessica Jones and put "Shh! It's a surprise!" on the "for" line
(So I remember what it is for.)

Regarding the picnic:
The picnic is slated for April 30th. As always, alumni are welcome,
but since this is such a special year, I ask that instead of telling
Snook, please e-mail me back (e-mails at the bottom) and tell me the
# of how many will be attending. This way, when he asks for #'s from
the current team, I can get them to add the needed #'s to their RSVP
and he will be none the wiser. If you do plan on comming, please
feel free to bring a side dish or pop with you to help insure we have
enough food for all. Like I said before, I dont have a job...
Thanks for your support and work. We know Snook will love it!
Finally, please e-mail me when you get this and let me know if you
are going to send something and/or if you wish to come. I need to
have an idea of what resources to pick up!

Thanks for taking the time to get through that. I know it's a lot in
