Sorry for the late posting on this but did want to get the word out. Our wood
turning club's annual symposium is coming up on July 26th. This year we are
fortunate to have Jimmy Clewes as one of our presenters. If you are in the area
or even if you are not, you are not likely to get many opportunities to see this
world class turner for such an incredibly low price. Following is an excerpt
from our last club mailing.
There's still lots of room at the July symposium. Remember to register by June
1 at which time the price goes up to $80. I guarantee Jimmy Clewes and Eric
Lofstrom will delight you and increase your enthusiasm to get into the shop to
practice what they'll be teaching. $70 for a full day of turning enjoyment,
includes lunch and door prizes is a great bargain. Many clubs are charging $130
or more for their day long symposiums. This is our primary money making effort
for the club. There's also one opening left in the Jimmy Clewes class on
Sunday, July 26. Go to the WoO web site for registration information.
