This is a good sled as Monstrol mentioned, Kevin Neely's website. Kevin's is the
sled I have but with oak runner
which is getting a slight movement now so I bouight a piece of uhmw (see here

tracks from which I didn't do yet. You can buy this at the toolstore and Busy
Bee in Canada and probally Grizzy and others in the USA. Google woodworking jigs
and also do a search on utube. There are so many. Here is one that I think could
be modified a little to cut veneers for between rings on a bowl.
