Re: [creat] Re: Gary Smith: Why ignore SN1987A?

Hi, Gary.

I am so very glad that you engage in discussion in this forum. Please
stay! I want you to know that you are most welcome here. As a young
earth creationist, you give everyone a perfect object lesson.

Go back and read these two posts that I wrote:

http://groups.yahoo.com/group/creationism/message/5398
http://groups.yahoo.com/group/creationism/message/5407

Now, Gary, did I write those in Chinese, or are you dyslexic?

I repeat again, those two posts are about SN1987A, and the fact that
SN1987A, in showing the antiquity of the universe, shows that the
doctrine of young earth creationism is wrong. Because of such
astronomical observations (astronomy, not geology) as SN1987A,
astronomy is a big problem for young earth creationism. Even the
shenanigan-master Marion Fox acknowledges this fact. But along comes
the YEC Gary Smith who is so much more obstinate than even a YEC like
Marion Fox that he cannot even bring himself to admit that SN1987A is
a problem for YEC doctrine. I cited Allan Turner simply as an example
of the fact that YECs acknowledge that SN1987A is a serious problem
for YEC, which is something you were earlier using deception about by
trying to pretend that SN1987A is not any kind of problem.

Even my 7-year-old son knows the difference between astronomy and
geology, so, Gary, surely you can figure out the difference.

Oh my, how tangled your web is!

Regards,
Todd S. Greene

I repeat---give me a major premise wehreby errosion rates are determined and systematically applied to relevant data. Then draw the necessary conclusions form that data. I have read the material which you referenced. No major premises with deductive conclusions are presentes--just he said--she said.---Gary
