Hi, Gary.
You are obstinately ignoring the fact that the premise was yours.
Here, yet again, is what you wrote (4/14/02, post #5008):
>> Why do we have so many craters that show almost no
>> erosion? There is not a single crater that has enough erosion to
>> even indicate 20,000 years of wear.
As I have pointed out before -- which you are quite obstinately and
intentionally ignoring, even though I know you know better -- it is
you who stated the premise, and it is your premise that is false.
Now, Gary, you claim to be a Christian. Are you going to follow your
own Christian morality and acknowledge the fact that your claim is
false, or are you going to follow typical YEC behavior and
obstinately deny that your statement is erroneous?
Incidentally, many of the links I provided in this post
http://groups.yahoo.com/group/creationism/message/5012
provide actual photos of many of these craters. Anyone who looks can
see for themselves that in fact with such craters as the Panther
Mountain Crater and the Manicouagan Crater are not really craters at
all. What we see are geological features that have developed over
millions of years on what used to be craters.
But, please, Gary, please continue to demonstrate your obstinacy in
this matter to everyone. This is indeed precisely how YECs
demonstrate to everyone that young earth creationists are not
genuinely interested in the truth. This is what I learned about you
guys 20 years ago, and this fundamental dishonesty is precisely why I
walked away from YEC.
