Crafters4charity, c4c, is currently supporting The Fred Hollows Foundation. The Fred Hollows Foundation (TFHF) was set up in 1992 to cure cataract, trachoma and other forms of treatable blindness and eye problems in people and children from developing nations.
TFHF has now restored the eyesight of more than 1 million people worldwide!!!
For further info please visit; http://www.hollows.org.au
Members of c4c make and donate items of craftwork which are then sold here in Australia at local craft markets, aged facilities, schools and sales to friends and family specifically to raise money for charity. All proceeds raised by C4c go directly to charity. All labour is volunteer labour.
Crafters from all nations are welcome to join us.
The types of crafts donated include items of cross-stitch, crochet, knitting, sewing, quilting, beading, papercrafts, woodturning, computer art, plastic canvas, embroidery and other forms of needlework, folk art, plus more. Other types of craftwork are also welcome though we recommend donated crafts be lightweight and unbreakable.
Please join our group of like-minded, compassionate charity crafters in helping people from developing nations regain their eyesight and thus significantly improve their lives and prospects.
***Please e-mail me using c4c2000@bigpond.net.au if you'd like to help us by donating good quality, handmade craftwork but don't wish to join this e-mail list or would simply like more info.
Thank You, All the Best and Happy Crafting!
