Hi Bruce, I believe the 3-D functions are reliant on Direct X.  I beleive Direct x is a free download from Microsoft.  I would suggest that a fresh copy of

That's a good start. I'm up to 28 layers for my layout. It's multi deck, so I have separate layers for each deck. Then layers for benchwork of each deck.

... Multiple layers for track is a must. If you have staging under regular track for instance, separating the layers makes the track above so much clearer. I
