I haven't converted my account over yet. I might just cancel it
instead. While I don't have a car, I don't need one that often. It
might actually come out cheaper for me to just rent a car from a
traditional car rental company on the rare occasions I need one. The
new Zipcar rates are an increase of 80%, which makes little sense to
me since it is the exact same cars as before.
When Flexcar first came to Atlanta, they were $10/hour and the rate
went down over time so maybe the same will happen with Zipcar. Until
then, I can make do with MARTA, my bike and my feet.
