CPRC Playgroup is a resource for parents with young children in Cheverly, Maryland and participating in playgroup is a great way to get to know other families with young children in Cheverly!

We meet Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 9:30 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. at the town center in cold weather and at Gast Park (also known as "Cheese Park") in warm weather. Playgroup group is geared toward young children (birth to preschool) but school-age siblings can join us in the summer months.

Once a month, we hold a special Birthday Playgroup. We gather all the children and sing Happy Birthday to the kids (and adults) celebrating their birthday that month. Everyone is invited to bring munchies to share.

Playgroup also hosts a winter holiday party, summer breakfasts at the Arboretum, and other special events. We'll send notices about special events or location changes via this listserve.

The group is very free-form. Come when you want, as little or as often as you want, for however long you want. As for this listserve, please keep conversations respectful, relevant, and friendly.
