Denise,
Please keep me informed as to how things go with the Bill on presumptive joint
custody.
California is one of the original models, and it has been working well here.
Good luck.

All:
I talked to the attorney scheduling speakers for the hearing this morning
and he said that he has no more slots available for people who want to
testify. The schedule is completely booked. He was able to tell me that
there is fair representation from both sides of the issue. This is good, I
suppose. I still plan on going to support those who are testifying. Kevin,
if you need some ammo, I can provide you some details from my trial. LOL

options of getting the kids, but then she got sick and never
rescheduled, though i kept calling her to do that and left
messages.so then she filed the plan without going over it with me.
They say they want to help me get my kids back, but since all of this
has happend(last march) they haven't done anything to really help, i
have done counseling, parenting classes, supervised visits, all what
they have set up even though i contacted these people. i dontknow
what to do
No, I have no information on her. Maybe she is registered with the state and you
can look at her profile.

I think this is a great way to encourage involvement in the organization, and
place some
emphasis on positive fathering. If I were in PA, I would make every effort to
attend!

Thanks Denise. I will look this over this evening. I also hope I can learn
more about coparenting. Do you have meetings or did I just come to a
meeting when they were discussing problems with the court system and on
other nights they talk about cooperative parenting?

I attented one of the group meetings at the United Way and it seemed it was
more for fathers who were having problems with the legal system in Allegheny
County. Right now, I'm not having any problems and the court seems to be
telling my ex that she needs to share custody with me. This is what I'm
seeking. I'm much more interested in learning how to coparent, especially
with someone who is difficult. I firmly believe my ex has a personality
disorder (I'm sure you hear this from all of us!), but she meets all the
DSM criteria for a Borderline Personality Disorder. I want to learn as much

possibly a psychopath (no kidding) at worst. This will hopefully help my
son through this as well.
