The Coos County Freecycle (TM) Message system is intended to provide people who are generally in and around Coos County, Oregon with the opportunity to both give away unwanted items instead of sending them to a landfill - as well as a means for those seeking used items to find it. LIVING IN COOS COUNTY IS -NOT- A REQUIREMENT - as many who live in other counties do daily business or travel frequently through Coos. This is just a general guideline.

Anyone may join and post messages in regard to items they wish to give away, as well as those seeking specific items they need. New members are moderated for a time to prevent abuse of the list.

The main rule is that all items must be free! No selling of ANY kind (including Yard Sales) is permitted. Note that all moderator decisions carry the same weight as decisions taken by the list owner and are treated as such. If you are under 13 years of age, you must by law have your parent(s) consent before joining.
