The Coos County Freecycle (TM) Message system is intended to provide people who live generally in and around Coos County, Oregon with the opportunity to both give away unwanted items instead of sending them to a landfill - as well as a means for those seeking used items to find it. Actualy living in Coos County is not required, as many from neighboring counties work in or travel through Coos. This is just a general guideline.
Anyone may join and post messages in regard to items they wish to give away, as well as those seeking specific items they need. New members are moderated for a time to prevent abuse of the list.
The main rule is that all items must be free! No selling of -ANY- kind (including Yard Sales) is permitted. Note that all decisions made by our content moderators carry the same weight as decisions taken by the list owner. If you are under 13 years of age, you must by law have your parent(s) consent before joining.
Happy trading!
