Comprised mainly of scholars and scholars in training, this group is dedicated to the discussion and sharing of information related to the academic study of modern Chinese Buddhism. We cover Chinese Buddhism from the late-Qing to the present in both the main land and in the Chinese diaspora. We welcome participation by anyone interested in any aspect of the study of Buddhism, including its history, philosophy, doctrine, practice, art, or liturgy.
