We propose that every lawful, peaceful and honorable means be used to forge a modern professional Confederate Military Ceremonial Honor Guard. Such a legion would carry the colors of the Confederate States of America in parades, conventions and various other activities. The Confederate Legion would be foresworn to uphold the highest traditions of our history, heritage, culture and nationhood.

There is nothing whatsoever that would achieve more toward the restoring of all things Confederate and Southern to dominance. We can gain the leadership and talent needed in order to accomplish our mission and purpose by combining the strengths of our veterans with those of our none-veterans. Let us begin now to reconstitute those long gray columns of Men in Gray, then combine their numbers with our Southern Belles.
