Good question…

OK, so here's the plan.

I will be at Bombers on Lark Street Monday evening from 6-7pm.  If people show up, I am free to stay later.  I just don't want to sit for hours on my own if it turns out that no one is free for a visit. That would not be fun! ;-P

I will be in the Albany area both Monday and Tuesday so if Monday night doesn't work for you let me know.  I miss everybody so much that I am willing to meet any of you where ever and when ever I can!

I am hitting the road tomorrow morning so FB/E-mail might not be the best way to reach me.  If you need to, give me a call at 910-409-3831.

Hope to see you all soon!

-Jessica/Vitalia

I could use a little help in either East Greenbush or Clifton Park.

If you could spare maybe an hour of your Sunday this busy season I would be very grateful.

We will be in East Greenbush at 10am and need to empty the storage unit of boxes. This is only a 10x10 unit and Hawk and I can do this on our own, but help would make it go more quickly.

We will be in Clifton Park at noon and will need to move all the furniture. Some pieces are too much for me to even be able to help with so help is needed with this.

Thank you so much if you are able to help out for any amount of time.

There are a lot of folks I am trying to reach who are on this list.

Non-fencers, please forgive the spam.

All of a sudden, I am holding two officer positions in Glen Linn.

This means I have to attend meetings.

That means I talk at meetings and come up with ideas.

This is where you come in.

We have a number of folks interested in fencing, and we’d like to do a one-shot “Fencing 101” evening on Friday, Jan. 8, in Queensbury. I know we have some folks who said they will try to start going to the Concordia practice soon).

This is where you come in. We have interested people, we have two sets of loaner gear, at least two of our folks have their own kits. (Frigga and Alethea).

What we do not have is active marshals, and we are hoping that if we promise to feed you if you come up that evening (I am leaving the time open to see what the marshals want). Gwenlianna has already said she will come help with teaching.

I know we’re the better part of a month away, but if you think you want to come up, please drop me a private note.

Thanks,

Greetings to the Barony of Concordia. My husband and myself would like
to announce a joyous occasion in our lives (that many were worried
would happen at St. Nicks in my sideboard preparations) .

On the 12th of December a baby boy was born to Lord Christopher of
Anglespur and myself, Lady Katrusha the Skomorokh, in the Barony of
Concordia before being brought home, on this day, to Anglespur. Johann
Alexander Munn was born at 2pm on the 12th weighing in at 7lbs, 12oz
and standing 20.5 inches from crown to heel. The three of us are back
home in Anglespur today and we are all adjusting well to our new
routines.

Little Johann is already preparing, with many faces, to someday
delight the populace as a bard.

Thank you for sharing in this moment with our family.

The agenda for the Curia to be held at Birka is available at http://seneschal.eastkingdom.org/curia.html

I am supposed to go to Curia, so you have many options for how to send comments, if any.

Greetings Sam the tree and family, and welcome to Concordia

There are regular dance practices in Anglespur, just over the river in Troy every Thursday evening from 7-9 pm on the RPI campus.  It may tend to move around in terms of which building but I believe it is now in academy hall in the auditorium which is on the second floor.
There is also a dance practice in Glen Lynn up north in Glens falls in the red cross building on Glen ST.  It will continue to be the first and third Tuesday from 7-9 pm until the dance event in Saratoga Springs on Feb. 20 being held by concordia of the Snows.   I may continue beyond that depending on interest.
Arts and Sciences days are usually listed on the Concordia web site (I hope).  Anglespur also has periodic A&S workshops but there may be someone better than I to give more pertinent information.
Concordia's St. Nicholas event is tomorrow 12/5 and should be a fun light-hearted evnet and a great way to meet people.  Bring your wooden shoe :-)

Hope to see you soon

Hail, and well met!

My wife and I came originally from Myrkfaellin, and have since played in both Rauchenderberg (Drachenwald) and Calanais Nuadh (Calontir)during my time in the Army. Time and service have taken their physical toll on me, though, and she now has a demanding mundane job, so it's unlikely that we'll return to heavy fighting and wide travels, but we are wondering if there are regular local arts meetings or dance practices, and if so, where we might look for them. We did always enjoy helping at events and dancing, and though I probably couldn't take another blow to the shoulder without popping a bulging disk, I suspect there are laws against beating those who dance badly....
