I think you can deal with mosquitoes just the same way you deal with
vampires; drive a toothpick through their little hearts!

While I harvested heads of garlic this afternoon -- laying them at my feet while I worked -- mosquitoes bit my ankles. So much for the idea of garlic repelling...

It repels vampires pretty well, though. After all, you've never been bitten by a vampire when you had garlic around, right? Mike Wevrick...

Were the tops of the garlic dead already? I emptied two water-collecting barrels which had many mosquito larvae swimming around in them, which I hope all died...

Dwight, I wouldn't say they were fully dead. I harvested about 2/3rds of the crop -- all the ones whose tops were laying fully on the ground. the bottom-most...
