Dwight, I wouldn't say they were fully dead. I harvested about 2/3rds of the crop -- all the ones whose tops were laying fully on the ground. the bottom-most

Were the tops of the garlic dead already? I emptied two water-collecting barrels which had many mosquito larvae swimming around in them, which I hope all died

I think you can deal with mosquitoes just the same way you deal with vampires; drive a toothpick through their little hearts!

Mike, not only was I not bitten by a single vampire while I was harvesting that garlic, I didn't even SEE one. I like to be SAFE from vampires at ALL TIMES.
