The members of Crowfoot needs a place to stay after the Thursday, Dec 17, dance.
There are 3 of them and they will need 2 beds. In the past, I've appreciated
the offers from folks beyond 495, but I've always been able to find something
closer to Concord, which is preferable.
Please reply to me personally (and not reply all). Thank you!

This Friday, December 4, Notorious will be playing
for you at the Challenging Contra Dance Series
~for EXPERIENCED dancers~
I will be calling fun/engaging/unusual contras to
the driving music of Eden and Larry, with special guest Frank Drake.
Time to trot off that turkey!
December 4 at The Scout House
8-11PM / Admission: $9 / 21 and under: $7
See you there,
Lisa Greenleaf
Check out the complete schedule at
http://www.tiac.net/~mabaker/challenging-contras.html
Dan Pearl just sent this out:
"We have just learned that the Concord power company is performing
"improvements" in the Walden Street area from 10pm Thursday to 5am
Friday. The fire department does not want the public in the Scout
House without power, so the dance will end at 9:50pm.
We're going to keep the break short, and knock off a buck from the
admission fee, so it will still be worth your while to come to the
dance.
The performers (Chris Weiler, Jessie Gagne-Hall, Ethan Hazzard-Watkins
and Owen Marshall) will be providing the energy. (Take *THAT*,
Concord Light Plant! Keep your tainted electrons!)
If you desire to stroll the streets of Concord after 10:00pm, you may
want to bring a flashlight, as the street lights will be out."
Lisa Greenleaf
Did you lose a key chain with hearts, an electronic car key and a
house key? It's at the Scout House office.
Contact:
concordscouthouse@...
Jewelry and keys are taken up to the office while other lost and found
items are placed inside the white bureau in the foyer. Check the
bulletin board to see if the bureau has been cleaned out recently and
where you might find your items.
We also recycle; gather your items and leave them in the kitchen under
the recycling sign.

I'm still looking for housing for caller Bob Isaacs for *tomorrow*
night after the challenging contra at the Scout House.
He needs space for himself and a friend, 2 sleeping spaces.
Anyone?
