Our group was initiated in response to an alleged, anti-Asian hate crime at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. Many members are alumni, staff, and faculty. Other members and supportive allies include the adoption community and Asian Americans of various ethnicities. We are united in our concern for creating a safe, supportive environment for Asian American families in the Ann Arbor area and throughout Michigan.
