This group is devoted to the discussion of Comparative Mythology.

It is run by the The International Association for Comparative Mythology, which was established during an international conference of Peking and Harvard University in May 2006 (http://www.people.fas.harvard.edu/~witzel/BeijingProgram.pdf). It is inspired by the three year Harvard project sponsored by the Harvard Asia Center (http://www.fas.harvard.edu/%7Esanskrit/myth.html).

The last conference was held at Edinburgh in August 2007 and the second one at Ravenstein (Netherlands) in August 2008. See http://www.iacm.bravehost.com/
