The “Comic Relief does Fame Academy” BBC1 TV series that preceded, and then finished on, Red Nose Day 2005 was particularly interesting. In my opinion, it featured Blue Peter presenter Konnie Huq.

Top of the Pops presenter Reggie Yates was continually voted to stay in the programme by fellow students, despite being dreadful at singing. He did not fool the TV audience or the judges – and was finally voted off by 8 votes to 4 when previous students were allowed back to take part in the voting process in the final Thursday’s programme.

I think that Reggie managed to manipulate some of the other students, when they were stuck in the house with him, using mind control – reading and manipulating their minds in a similar way to that described in Isaac Asimov’s Foundation series (see my group on the Second Foundation for more information). Konnie was one of the best singers at the start, but I believe that Reggie undermined her self-confidence so that she got knocked out fairly early on.

I think that he was partly motivated by racism (despite the fact that he is black) in his attitude towards Konnie. For more information about racism and mind control in “Comic Relief does Fame Academy”, visit my first message to this group.

I phoned up on Red Nose Day 2005 to make a donation, explain such things and promote my band which will raise money for good causes including Comic Relief.

Oxfam sells “Divine” fair trade hot chocolate, which also raises money for Christian Aid and Comic Relief – and obviously not the tiny amounts of money donated by Flora for Red Nose Day 2004 in an exercise of blatant commercial exploitation of this great charity.
