I seen the new movie out We Were Soldiers I like it think its the
best
one yet. I like the helicopter scenes specially when they wouldn't
touch down and troops had to jump remember that all to well. I think
we should have received jump pay. The jets comin down droppin bombs
also in the movie they had props droppin bombs only remember arvns
having the props. Then it was earlier than when we were there. I have
the jets droppin the bombs in my home movie but some of the quaility
was lost changing to vhs from 8mm. Well got to run
MIKE that starlight picture was a long time ago.
That was when i had hair! Remember when i bet the one
instructor that i could hit the steel plate at 400 yards
with the starlight scope standing at night fire zero?
He took me up on it and i rang that steel plate and
got a easy $5. Might go shoot a 50 shot offhand match
soon,I like to shoot big bore once in awhile! If i just
had a few cases of Lake City? Those boat tail match
were sweet. Keep your head down. Sounds like they
could use us in the Phil.-- Islands. Two to three man
groups, All right! We know what that means! ONE SHOT ONE
KILL! Till they call us keep your head down CRAIG
Mike That sniper could have been Mc Laughlin John C. 70-71? Saw that name
listed in the wolfhounds? Can you remember any of the coaches on thr range
picture? Keep your head down. CRAIG

I sent this to you but it returned. This is a clip
from my home movie. You
are walking in front of sign in front of 1st Cav sniper range You seem to been
sort of a camera ham back then.lol
Glad you got the card. Sorry it took almost 31
yrs. Will look forward to seeing it posted in your
briefcase. It was the only picture i have of the range and you
shooting steel plates. O' what a great sound when you ring
that steel plate. That LAKE CITY 7.62 sure could do a
job. Keep your head down! sniperrvn
I was wondering what the military thinks of
perhaps allowing snipers to have vision enhancement
surgery. I’m sure some high-ranking officer has wondered
what it would be like if his sniper teams really did
have hawk-eyes. Responses from military personnel
only, and preferably snipers, please.

Thanks
and Happy Hunting
Gan Ainm
I was in one of the vet chat rooms and ran across a vet whos son is in 10th mt.
unit now. I will dig up his e mail address and see if he was deployed there.
I think we ought to just stay in one place. There the ones who have to move
around. Slide some nukes in those caves. I bet there's alot we are not hearing.
well got to run
They sent my old unit (10th Mountain) to Uzbekistan. Reports say only 1000
soldiers were deployed. I wonder why so few. Maybe there's more and we're just
not being told everything.
Its Colmubus day. A day off for federal workers,
don't check your mail box. I been cooking some filets
on the grill. How sweet it is! I been trying to get
ready for winter. I been watching the bombing on the
tube. I hope they keep them in there caves and just
send snipers outside and pick them off like ground
hogs lol Somehow its never that easy. I was thinking
that army of one must be pertaining to Snipers lol.
To some a Dream and to others a
NIGHTMARE!
Most infantryman are young starting there lives at
this point in time. Now they have a feeling
of
there life will be on hold till this WAR
passes.
I've talked to many vets and they are ready to go
fight, sometimes I think they should send the ones who
want go. The older man has expierence life raised his
children. The Combat Vet would gladly go in place of his
child. Well I was just rambling and have the urge to do
some serious shooting. I drive by the local gun club
and hear that familiar automatic fire. I know its
illeagal, but makes me proud guys are ready to kick ass when
they have to.
