Description
Com-Pac sailboats range from small trailerable micro-cruisers to large sailboats capable of crossing oceans. We discuss all aspects of owning, sailing, trailering, maintaining, purchasing, using, and otherwise enjoying these great boats including Com-Pac Picnic-Cat, Com-Pac 16, Com-Pac 19, Com-Pac 23, Com-Pac 25, Com-Pac 27, Com-Pac 33, Com-Pac 35, (and others).
Guidelines for Discussion of Com-Pac Sailboats
Mutual assistance has been a part of this list since it's inception. You're welcome aboard, as a sailor, prospective sailor, interested party, or anyone else who would like to discuss Com-Pac sailboats! (or general subjects directly related to sailing.) We invite questions and observations from new sailors.
So far, submissions are not individually moderated to be passed or rejected before being admitted, but we expect all list members to conform to a very few simple guidelines.
1. We maintain an atmosphere of courtesy and mutual respect.
2. No ads. We don't post commercial solicitations, except for the rare occasion when a list member might have something specifically of interest to Com-Pac sailors. ( Listing Com-Pacs for sale by group members or citations of where to find a Com-Pac is acceptable)
3. Language tone and subject matter: We don't post material or use language that we wouldn't want children to read. Please be aware that kids sail too and can have access to the Com-Pac site. Political, economic or cultural topics, create division and conflict among members, sidetracking the discussion of sailing and are unacceptable.
4. File size: We don't attach huge files, since many members are limited in mailbox size.
5. Daily submissions: We suggest limiting the number of posts per day. Please use discretion.
Guideline Violations: At the judgement of the moderators or owners, violating these guidelines can get you tossed overboard, either temporarily or permanently.
