Anyone have some positive suggestions on how to address the neverending block
party?
6 years now, and it's still happening. When the weather warms up, nearly every
night a group of men roll in (usually they don't live on the street) and set up
shop.
They deal drugs, they shout, they fight, they drink, they litter. Until 2am,
3am, 4am.
Each year we try to get the police to do something about it. They try for a
little while. But it seems no one else on the street minds the sleepless nights
and garbage strewn street. The police get tired of hearing from just one
homeowner who is fed up.
The locus of the activity is 3602 Rock Creek Church Road. It was an apartment
building. Now it's a construction site.
If anyone else on this listserve lives on this street, please pick up the phone
and dial the police when the action gets heavy. Perhaps if enough of us say it's
time to stop, the police or Jim Graham will finally do something.
