Let's be straight up about this.

The debate about Ross Dress for Less in Columbia Heights REALLY comes
down to peeps thinking they could make 10% annually on a real estate
investment. Nothing more. Nothing less.

You have a Starbucks. You have some condos that have presumably sold.
The anti-Ross campaign really comes down to people thinking they were
going to move to Logan Circle - no more, no "less".

Move to Friendship Heights instead of Columbia Heights if you have a
problem.

Best

I think most people would prefer NOT to see Ross and Marshals. We need that like we need another damn CVS in this city. Enough unless you're interested in...

It's all well and good for the community to come up with a wish list of potential retailers for CH but the issue isn't what retailers the community wants, it's...

the people should be detained and the police called. Otherwise after they are kicked out, they just take their fight outside and kill someone (H2O) or go out...

So what's your point? There's nothing in either of my posts that's inconsistent with the observation that CH probably can't support the "high end" retail that...

Didn't we have the discussion already?? What's it going to convince you people that Columbia Heights is a urban market that is completing changing. The condo...

Richard, Could you explain? A Target is being built in Front Royal, Va., and across the street a Wal Mart. That is nowhere near a 300,000 person retail trade ...

Based on the numbers the CH area can support more non-food midrange retail offerings. No new condos required, so to speak. The challenge is really that...
