Description
This egroup is for discussion of the coloratura soprano voice in all its stratospheric glory -- famous divas from the past, current songbirds on the opera and concert stages of the world, fabulous newcomers, favorite rollercoaster arias and art songs, incredible cadenzas, elaborate embellishments, high notes galore, great recordings, great roles, technique, trills, upcoming recitals or CD releases, composers with florid flair ... anything that has to do with this often under-appreciated and most acrobatic voice type.

I actually went to her concert in NJ. She sang the same program over 4 days: Mozart's concert aria "Ah se in ciel,benigne stelle", "Der Holle Rache" Bellini's
