Dear Friends,

The purpose of Colombian Connections is to share our special connections with fellow adoptive families who have children from Colombia. All families are welcome, whether the adoptions are recent or past, from private orphanages or ICBF orphanages. Exchange of recipes, cultural topics and adoption information is welcome. This is a place for parents and parents to be, to celebrate our wonderful children and children to be from Colombia. For those in the process of adopting please get specific information from your agency. We can share experiences here but any advice given is not to be considered written in stone. Policies change, agencies change, personnel change. This can sometimes mean frustration and confusion to those waiting.

We are Amy and Nell, and we welcome what you have to share. We hope this group can be valuable, to network with others around the world who have ties to Colombian children.
