Il C.N.G.E.I. (Corpo Nazionale Giovani Esploratori/Esploratrici Italiani) č una delle due associazioni scout italiane riconosciute internazionalmente. Nata nel 1912, č un'associazione con finalitą educative che utilizza il metodo delineato dall' inglese Baden Powell. Eccone un assaggio: "impara a guidare la tua canoa tra gli scogli della vita", "imparare giocando", "lo scout č un cittadino del mondo".

La Sezione di Bologna comprende 4 gruppi scout: due in cittą (quartiere Reno e quartiere Savena), uno a Bondeno (FE) e un altro a Modena. I gruppi scout sono solitamente divisi in 3 fasce di etą: il BRANCO (dagli 8 ai 12 anni), il REPARTO (dai 12 ai 16) e la COMPAGNIA (fino ai 19).
