For windows (vertical ports), plexiglass (acrylic) is fine. For hatches, you
must consider Plexan which is more rugged but more expensive and easier to
scratch than Plexiglas. In tropical or very hot climate, tinted plexiglas is
often preferred.

you should be driving no faster than 50-55 miles an hour and make sure you don't
drive on a very hot day or on steep hills. If your automatic transmission oil is

http://www.yachtsurvey.com/Fiberglass_Boats.htm to understand what it means to
cheat on material or labour. For instance, you must use quality wood, enough
fiber of the right grade and shape and pay special attention to anything below
the waterline, especially at the keel and bilge level. If you are thinking of
repainting your boat or repairing anything below the waterline, I suggest you
have a look at Don Casey's books, available on Amazon.com.

You may want to look at sailboats for sail also. If you need too much stuff to get yours done it may be cheaper to just get another. I also got one for free. I have all the stuff but I will still have more than it's worth in it when I'm done. Well more than I can sell it for anyway.

Have you noticed that the dog food comercials are posted by different names, all one person I'm sure. I think the group owner can delete the accounts, but what would stop them from opening another?

Well that explains it. I thought the doghouse did not have a pop top for some reason. As far as the fixed keel version, is it the same keel as the 32? I would assume it does not have the raised portion on the inside.

Hi Dan,

I don’t know what you refer to when you mention pictures in the manual. The only manual that I am aware of is innocent of illustrations (it’s the .pdf that also appears on this site). What can you tell me about a version of a manual with pictures?

Anyway, the Clipper 26 was offered in four different versions: Swing Keel, Fixed Keel, Flush Deck, and Doghouse. The doghouse is easy to distinguish because it has "that hump;" the forward aspect of the cabin is a blind wall that swoops down to meet the deck, similar to most sailboats featuring a cabin. The flush deck has no such hump, of course. All versions include the pop top, in fact, the pop top itself could well be interchangeable.

Subject: [cmoa] CM 26 manual pictures

I was looking at the CM 26 manual and noticed that the profile view is not the same as mine or most of the other CM 26 pictures that are posted. The cabin on the manual pic is taller by it looks like a foot or so. Mine does not have that hump. Did the design get changed somewhere down the line? It still shows the pop-top so it is not a picture of the dog house style. I was just curious.
