Mai Jori Jamali contesting election from PB - 25 Jaffarabad - I Balochistan
Assembly will appear before Returning Officer tommorrow February 3rd 2010 at
Dera Allahyar along with her covering candidate and proposers and seconders.
Awami Party workers and civil society activists will receive her at the office
of RO.
On the other hand a joint consultative meeting of Awami Party members, Civil
Socciety activists from different parts of Sindh and Balochistan as well
as villagers of Goth Ghullam Muhammad Jamali held to discuss the strategies and
possibilities of election campaign and fund collection for the election. In the
meeting participants resolved that it will be proved that politics even election
politics is possible without money and high level patronization. Meeting
attended by party workers and civil society activists including Mai Jori, Ms.
Afshan Khuhawar, Mussarat Mastoi, Ms. Irshad Chandio, Ms. Hajul Seelro, Ms.
Irshad Seelro, Mai Naseeban, Ms. Sehat Khatoon, Ms Haseena, Sadora Khan, Abdul
karim, Niaz Hussain, Ismail Jamali, Sahab dino, Gohar Khan, Ghaffar Pandrani,
Murad Pandrani, Comrade Qadir Bux Seelro, Comrade Ramzan Memon and other.
A campaign for fund collection will be initiated in the constitutency and voters
of the constittuency will be approched to contribute financially in the campaign
and vote for Mai Jori as well. Appeal to democratic and progressive people will
also be issued for their contributions. Participants of the meeting contributed
and collected an amount of Rs: 3407- on the occasion. In same kind of meeting
held on January 29th, 30th, and 31st th participants contributed Rs: Rs: 4,550-,
Rs: 1,550-, Rs: 2,200- that becomes total amount of Rs: 11,707-. Out of that
contributions an amount of Rs: 7120/- has been spent that include Rs: 4000- for
election fees. Travel from village to RO office at district head quarter,
nomination papers and submission process. An amount of Rs: 4,587- remains with
campaign committee committe.

Mai Jori Jamali candidate for Provincial Assembly Balochistan seat PB - 25,
Jaffarabad - I appeared in the office of Returning Officer as part of scruitiny
process. She was accompanied by her Proposers and Seconders. Covering candidate
Abdul Karim also appeared. The nomination papers were found complete by RO
office. The list of candidates whose papers are accepted is expected on February
4th evening. Awami Party members, Civ il Society activists and supporters are
expecting her name in the list of candidates for the election contest.
