The following information pertains to email lists which have been set
up to exchange information of relevance to Critical Mass in Sydney
Australia. This information file is sent automatically when you
subscribe to a list, or by request, and is the same for all lists. Please
read this as it contains infomration outline what is, and what isn't
acceptable material for posting to these lists.

Some terms used in here, such as list owner, and moderator, are used
in the way they are referred to by a computer program called
'majordomo'. A list-owner is someone who administers a list. It doesn't
convey ownership in the sense of controlling content. A moderator is a
person who can approve (or not) the forwarding of a submited item to a
list. If you feel the moderator isn't doing a good job then talk about
it, get the opinion of others, come along to a CM meeting...
