This list is for those using or interested in using the Charlotte Mason Philosophy for education (including homeschooling), or to enrich their own lives.

This is a Christian philosophy. We do not screen members, but do expect this atmosphere and respect of other's tenets of faith. We have active friends and members from many faiths.

We encourage discussion from different viewpoints, and we do not expect contention. Please don't try to use this list for gripes or complaints. We can't fix them.

We request that you obtain and use a personal virus-scanning program.

An original rule-of-thumb is that all members of this list are encouraged to respond to the weekly topics, posting personal essays or discussion questions on those topics. This is not meant to discourage 'gleaners' ; only to encourage active participation. It often does make for a large volume.

We read and discuss the original Home Education Series by Charlotte Mason and other CM materials. They are intended as starters, not straight-jackets. Any CM question is welcome at any time and 'newbies' are encouraged to ask questions.

Posts by our children, including sample Narration and book reviews, are welcome!

We are a prayer list, praying regularly for our members and friends.

We encourage friendship, introductions, and cheerful discussion of ordinary life as CM is applied. This is not OT.
