CMAP is a comprehensive, compact environment for numerical computation, graphics, and rapid development of computational software. It provides seamless integration of the CALC-ulator Mode for expression evaluation and the Programming Mode for execution of programs and user-defined functions. BUILT-IN UTILITIES: Units Converter, Date Converter, Fraction and Base Converters, and the Expression-Evaluator. GRAPHICS: Lines, shapes, graphs, charts, surfaces, meshes, bitmaps, 2-D & 3-D objects and animation. MATHEMATICS: Evaluation of expressions of vectors, arrays, matrices and complex numbers. Numerical methods: linear algebra, differentiation, integration, special functions, least-squares fit, optimization, interpolation, polynomials, non-linear equations, differential equations. Functions for statistics and finance. PROGRAMMING: C-syntax language with facilities for easy creation of menus, UI elements, visual I/O of variables and matrices, data files, data validation and I/O form. Support for run-time data editing, debugging, incremental development, and use of HTML-Help in application programs. Educational CMAP-Application Programs: Finite element analysis, structural analysis and numerical methods. DOWNLOAD and SCREEN-SHOTS: Click on "Files"-Menu System Requirements: PC with Windows 98, 2000, ME, NT or XP AUTHOR: Dr. K. Ha, Professor Faculty of Engineering and Computer Science Concordia University Montreal, QC, Canada.
