Club-Veg Perth is for all Perth vegetarians & vegans to network & make new friendships within the growing vegetarian community of Perth.

It started out as a Vegetarian Social Club but has become much more than that. It has become a site for socialising, for activists & for general sharing of info, recipes etc related to veg*nism & animal rights.

A regular list (approx weekly) of social veg & animal rights related events is posted here along with a separate list of social veg, animal & humans rights events. It is your choice as to which one you read & which you delete.

Members suggestions of things we can do together are more than welcome. The way it works is that you post to the list an idea you have of something to do, get the numbers of others interested, make a booking if required - & turn up. Easy!

The only requirement is that foodstuffs be vegan at any CVP related picnics etc - so that vegans do not have to fuss over the ingredients. If possible an ingredient list is very helpful though for those with allergies and food intolerances. Omnivore partners welcome at CVP events.

The Rules:

No preaching or discussion of religion, politics or other totally unrelated topics.

A weekly list of events will be posted so if you want something non-veg advertised please send it to the list owner for moderation and listing if deemed appropriate.

If you have any complaints about the list or disagree with any decisions of the list owner or moderators - please email
clubvegperth-owner@yahoogroups.com. Other members do not want their inboxes filled with complaints.

No flaming of others (including the moderators) is tolerated on this list. Those who attack others or are obvious trolls will be banned.

This group is for vegetarians, vegans & even those omnivores trying to make the switch & give up eating meat &/or eggs & dairy. You will find support here for this.
