The primary audience for this list is the African-descendent: (to quote Asa Hilliard in his intro to his book "The Maroon Within Us" [thanks Joyce]) "those who identify with and acknowledge their cultural heritage, those who want to know more about it, and who feel an obligation to pass on the cultural traditions of the family to posterity, those who are committed to a collective struggle to develop our communities, and those who are dedicated to an uncompromising resistance to oppression in all its overt and covert forms .... "

Club-BlackWeb is a meeting room/coffeehouse where folks can get down to business of working out projects, sharing ideas and personal anecdotes.
