Welcome Food Sharers!
Clovis Fresno FoodShare members can share excess perishable or nonperishable, unexpired/unspoiled food items that might otherwise go to waste! You can offer items such as excess items from government programs (infant formula, milk, cheese, rice, etc), unwanted items from your pantries, groceries, seeds, plants, fruit before it rots on the tree, extra veggies from the farm or garden, canned goods from your emergency survival stock, coupons and so on.
This group caters to Clovis, Fresno & surrounding areas. Out-of-area members are welcome to join, but please be willing to cover the extra distance for our local members. The principle is similar to other free groups just that this is for food!

Use the following subject headlines: OFFER, TAKEN, WANTED, RECEIVED. List any special instructions, along with your pickup location (cross streets, city area, zip).

BASIC RULES:
~ FOOD items only, including pet food. No alcohol or tobacco, just edible items.
~ Include EXP. DATE or BEST BY.
~ List the location in each post.
~ Balance WANTED posts with your OFFER posts.
~ If offering garden items please post U pick or pre-picked.
~ Coupons may be posted. Please be willing to mail coupons for free if your respondent cannot pick them up in person.
~ All items must be Free, Legal & Appropriate for All Ages.
~ No selling, no trading.
~ OFFERS and TAKEN are to be posted by the member giving the items. WANTED and RECEIVED are to be posted only by the member wanting items.
~ No flaming, no political or religious posts.
~ No SPAM (unless it's the kind that comes in a can).
~ Be Safe! Please take reasonable measures to protect your safety and privacy when posting to the list or participating in an exchange.
