. Louis's GLBTA concert band, BandTogether, will celebrate the diverse music
that has shaped the world throughout the ages. The selections will range from
Dixieland to ragtime to opera to rock 'n roll as we reflect on the musical eras
of the past. Highlights will include a lively collection of John Williams hits,
a Scott Joplin classic, and a baritone horn solo of an aria from Rossini's The
Barber of Seville ("Figaro, Figaro, Fi-gar-o!"). This concert will be familiar,
fun, fantastic, and as always FREE!
Yes, as always, the concert is open to the public and admission is FREE (no
tickets required), but tax-deductible donations and applause are greatly
appreciated. Consider becoming a BandFriend with your donation; information is
available on our website.
