Welcome to the Clearview School yahoo group! We are based in Austin,Tx and are currently in the process of getting the school started. This group is for all interested in being taking part. You may want to be a founder, you may want to send your child here, or you may just be curious. Here we will post information such as meeting places and times, progress, and any issues that come up. Questions are welcome and encouraged.

Clearview School is based on the Sudbury Valley School model. The core of the school’s ideology is that people innately have a desire to learn. The learning process must be self-initiated and pursued by the student if it is to be lasting. It allows each person to discover their unique and creative traits at a natural pace. Furthermore, each student is treated as a responsible entity in the progress of the school.
