Trying to decide whether to join our reading group? Think of us as an 18th century French “salon” and you’ll have the right idea. No, we are not a beauty salon, but a gathering of people who are interested in ideas. Since we cannot literally pull together the great minds of the past, we read their writings instead. Diverse thoughts and opinions are welcome. By meeting in person to discuss the readings, we further refine our own ideas.

In the past, this group has existed primarily of homeschoolers, and those pursuing a Leadership Education. However, you do not have to be a homeschooler, nor do you have to be following any particular educational method. If you like reading classics and would enjoy meeting others who like reading classics…you are welcome!
