This is a support and/or discussion group in Indiana Region 6, Mooresville area, for homeschooling parents of Early Elementary children and their families.

Workshops, Play dates and / or weekend co-ops for elementary classes are possibilities for our Mooresville area homeschoolers. Joining organizations together such as the local Boy Scout program is another goal as well as needing someone to lead a 4-H unit that supports homeschool in the Mooresville area.

When registering, please indicate whether you live in region 6 of Indiana and share a little about your location (not specifics - for privacy protection) and the areas of interest and age group of children. Membership is not allowed for solicitation purposes. Only posts for sharing, mentoring and activity ideas allowed. When posting, please use whole language, no acronyms allowed, help each other in preserving what's left of the English language in this technological world.

Members of this group are devout Christians in Central Indiana who are interested in the classical model of education including Latin instruction, classical readings, Trivium framework of education, Charlotte Mason techniques and their combination. Favorite curriculum of families interested in this group might be: Heart of Dakota, My Father's World, Memoria Press, Well Trained Mind, Latina Christiana, Classical Conversations etc.

All get togethers will have to accommodate working homeschool moms. So weekends (some Fridays) and evenings are the only options for scheduling events. My biggest need right now is feedback and commitment through response. We will need commitments via email to make play dates possible.
