This list is limited only to those who are members of the Catholic Homeschoolers of York, PA.

The Catholic Homeschoolers of York Support Group formed in Sept. 2000. The group is specifically for Catholic Homeschoolers. It is open to anyone belonging to a rite which is in communion with the Holy Father.

It is for homeschooling mothers, fathers, and children. All are welcome at our events. Whether one is planning to homeschool, investigating homeschooling as a possibility, a new homeschooler or a veteran, they are welcome. We try to support each other not only on educational issues but also in our vocations as wives/mothers and husbands/fathers and as Catholics.

We are very informal. Our only real meetings are Friday Parkdays when the weather is appropriate. Otherwise, we usually post about local Catholic and/or homeschool events and opportunities. Often we ask for referrals and reviews on everything from curricula to auto mechanics. Feel free to share any relevant Catholic family life/homeschooling resources or info. We try to help each other in any way we can. Post a question and someone with experience usually replies within the day!

You are likely to see many of us at St. John's New Freedom, St. Joseph's Dallastown, and St. Joseph's Kingston as well as other York churches. The new moderators have been known to try to drum up support for local pro-life initiatives as well. ;)
