Description

Christopherus Homeschoolers is for parents who are homeschooling using Donna Simmons’ Chistopherus curriculum, which is a Waldorf inspired curriculum.

This is a support group, where we can ask questions and hear back from other parents who have perhaps experienced these same questions and found solutions. This group is not officially connected with Donna Simmons or Christopherus, although we have her permission and her blessing. Answers in this group will most commonly be from other parents using this group. Donna has a wonderful subscription group where you can get in-depth answers from Christopherus consultants and, occasionally, Donna.(http://www.waldorf-at-home.com/)

Others who are not yet using Christopherus are welcome to read our posts, but posts are limited to those who already own the curriculum. When you send your request in to join, please tell us what grades you are teaching with Christopherus.

Please note- this is to be a positive help-center. Constructive criticism is fine, but please put it in a positive frame (i.e. not "I hate this", but rather "I am having problems (with, understanding, etc.) "X", can someone please help. If you've got ideas about how to improve the curriculum, please feel free to share it here, but also please send to Donna, so that she may evaluate it for inclusion. http://www.christopherushomeschool.org/

Re: switching curriculum mid year?
I have slowly incorporated a new curriculum. It depends on what you are looking for. Oak Meadow keeps you busy with nice things but is not truely waldorf. How
