This Calendar Group is for those that wish to be on call for volunteer leafleting occasionally.
The CVA needs volunteers to leaflet and table at Christian events throughout the United States and overseas, distributing our attractive and compelling booklet "Are We Good Stewards of God's Creation?" It only takes about an hour, and our volunteers have almost always found the experience very rewarding and empowering. To learn more, contact me at paris@christianveg.com. Everything will be supplied to you, including free leaflets and a T-shirt, and we will donate to the non-violent animal advocacy or vegetarian group of your choice in consideration of your time and effort.
Once you have joined this Calendar Group : Either by choosing the “Join this Group button” above or here http://groups.yahoo.com/group/christian_vegetarian/ you will be able LOG IN CVACG here: www.groups.yahoo.com Using the email address you joined with. This will show a list of the groups you have personally joined. Select the CVA
Go to the calendar page and enter the abbreviation of your state (CA, GA, etc) in the search window for upcoming local events. Click on the link for that event (in blue letters). Confirm the dates & times from that event's website posted, then simply let us know at paris@christianveg.com, and we will get you started!
