This is a group to honor and remember the Christian male, no matter where he may find himself in the world, no matter what his status. I have felt for some time there has been a need for a group like this; it has always been in the back of my mind. When I did a search for Christian male groups in Groups home, a lot of what came up in response still involved women, and some of it was good ol' fashioned MALE BASHING that showed up on the homepages of these groups. This is unacceptable. I do not for a moment believe that the Good Lord honors such behavior, against women, minorities or anyone else, so why should men or even Christian men accept it? I believe the Golden Rule: do unto others as you would have them do unto you. If you believe in it, too, then this group is for you. Please, no spam, flaming, etc. This is a place of support, so no male apologists, either ("Gosh ladies, I'm so sorry we men are such scum.") I am a single, heterosexual male and would prefer anyone who join also fit this criteria. Name (real name, nickname or Yahoo ID) and marital status are STRONGLY RECOMMENDED. If you register online, there is a space called User Comments, which allows you to tell, in your own words, why you want to join. This space may be used to submit this info. If your Yahoo profile contains the requested info, this is also acceptable. I reserve the right to reject applicants, AT ANY TIME, based on the content of either their e-mail application or their Yahoo profile, or both.
