Christian Actors Network (CAN) was created by ChristianFilmmaker.com in 2000, so that Christian film makers and producers would be able to find Christian actors for their movies. Christian Actors Network understands the need of uniting Christian Actors and Film Producers to fellowship and work together as a team for the Glory of God. Actors and Producers need each other, today more than ever before. We know for a fact the Lord is organizing a "NEW" Holy Movie Industry for His Kingdom and Glory!

Christian actors should post their headshots (photos) on the "Photos" section (see: links on left column of this forum). Please add your agents contact info. (if you have one) or post your website address on each photo that you post on this group.

DO YOU HAVE A WEBSITE?
Christian actors should have their own website so that Christian film makers and producers may be able to find them and see a more detailed information about yourself. It would also help if your acting name may be found on a yahoo, google, youtube or Godtube search. If you can't find yourself on a google search, how will any producer?

CREATE A VIDEO DEMO OF YOUR ACTING WORK:
Show your acting-talent on video! Today a Web video is an actor's "greatest" marketing tool. A picture may say a thousand words, but video says a million. To succeed in today's competitive film industry (secular or Christian) actors are still required to be professional, organized and be ready at a moments notice to who; their headshots, resume, and video-demo reel posted on their Website. There are many ways you may build a free website, for example we've seen actors use MySpace very effectively for this purpose.

The key is to market yourself as a "Christian Actor" on the Web. Be a light! And don't worry, Hollywood already knows and understands the term "Christian Actor" and they should respect it... and if they don't, just walk out. :-)
