Christian Universalism is the belief in a God of Love for all people, who is forever working to save all souls and raise them up into the perfection of Christ. This group brings together Christians from diverse backgrounds who believe in Universalism or are exploring this positive and uplifting interpretation of the Gospel, for fellowship, networking, prayer, Bible study, and discussion. Christians who are unsure of their beliefs about salvation and divine justice are welcome to join this group to consider Christian Universalist views, ask questions, and discuss and pray about these important issues with believers in Christian Universalism. Non-Christians and Unitarian Universalists who want to learn about Christian Universalism may also join. Believers in eternal hell are prohibited from using this as a debating forum.

This group has a friendly and open-minded atmosphere, and we do not promote religious fundamentalism. Christians who believe in universal salvation but continue to hold to a rigid, fundamentalist view of Christianity on all other issues are discouraged from joining this group except for the purpose of learning and broadening their spiritual horizons. A dogmatic spirit is unwelcome here. Members are expected to be tolerant and respectful in offering their opinions, rather than arguing in a spirit of angry debate.

Discussions may take place about various spiritual issues, and different ideas may be shared, within the basic framework of belief in a God of Love and the Lordship of Jesus. Practical matters may also be discussed, such as church attendance, books and resources, and strategies for sharing our beliefs. Topics such as homosexuality, abortion, creationism versus evolution, gifts of the Spirit, and other controversial subjects that seem to draw excessive interest from many Christians but are not central to the Gospel may be briefly discussed on occasion, but will not be allowed to become the focus of this group.
