Christchurch Community Celebration is going to be held on Saturday 29 May 2010 in Saxon Square and close by. It is an event which we intend to hold annually. The chosen date commemorates the ancient Trinity Fair, which is one of the earliest recorded annual attractions held in the town and helped fund Christchurch Priory.

Local organisations, groups, clubs, and societies are invited to show off what they do in whichever way they choose. There will be stalls and workshops which will appeal to both young and old. The event will be fun, colourful and will provide an opportunity for Christchurch to blow its own trumpet!

The purpose of this event is to provide a stage upon which people can share in what is going on in the town. This year we are going to ask people to help to raise funds for the new Druitt Hall. There is so much to be proud of in Christchurch.
